The Arizona Diamondbacks, Guns N’ Roses fans in Phoenix will have to wait a bit longer to rock out.

That’s because it has been rumored that the storied hard rock band’s performance at Chase Field on October 11 would be postponed due to a forthcoming D-backs playoff game at the venue.

After sweeping the Milwaukee Brewers in the best-of-three National League Wild Card round, the Arizona Diamondbacks advanced to the National League Division Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday. They have won a postseason series for the first time in 16 years.

On October 11 at Chase Field, Game 3 of the best-of-five National League Division Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers will take place on the same night as the Guns N’ Roses concert.

Derrick Hall, the CEO and president of the Diamondbacks, informed KTAR radio host Mike Broomhead on Monday that if the club proceeded to the NLDS, the performance would need to be rescheduled.

Hall remarked, “That’s a nice issue to have.

Maybe if you’re a die-hard Arizona Diamondbacks fan, but maybe not for Guns N’ Roses fans.

The band’s We’re F’N’ Back! global tour stop at Chase Field was first confirmed back in February, one month before Arizona’s football season got underway.

As of Wednesday night, neither the Diamondbacks nor performance producer Live Nation had officially confirmed the concert’s postponement.
